Marisa Crawford represents clients in government affairs matters in South Carolina and multistate government affairs matters across the United States, built on a foundation of extensive senior level government and political experience.
From 2004-2010, Marisa served as Director of Cabinet Affairs and Legislative Affairs Director in the South Carolina Governor’s Office. Subsequently, Marisa served as the Finance Director for the 2010 and 2014 elections of South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. She currently serves as chief fundraising advisor to South Carolina Governor Henry MacMaster and Lt. Governor Pamela Evette.
During her more than fourteen years of service to three governors, Marisa has been the liaison to the Republican Governors Association. In that role, she has extended her relationships into executive branches and governors’ offices across the country. Marisa’s experience also includes working for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), Senator Bill First (TN), Governor George Voinovich (OH), Governor David Beasley (SC), and Senator Phil Gramm (TX). During her tenure at the NRSC, she organized events for political leaders such as Mikhail Gorbachev, Margaret Thatcher and former Presidents of the United States.
