Government Relations

A dynamic and diversified government relations professional, Christian is best known for his tireless work as the lead advocate for juvenile & criminal justice issues in the State of Florida. He has an extensive track record of passing landmark legislative policy and substantial appropriations through the legislative and executive process. In addition to his advocacy, Minor has been a ubiquitous presence on Florida’s political campaigns, having worked with dozens of candidates throughout the state.

Along with other Converge clients, Christian retains the role of Executive Director of the Florida Juvenile Justice Association (FJJA), representing the Department of Juvenile Justice’s contracted private providers. Prior to his role at the FJJA, he first came to the process as a legislative aide. He subsequently served as Director of Legislative Affairs for two other justice-related organizations, Bridges of America and the Florida Smart Justice Alliance. Previously, he was also a Legislative Associate for the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, tackling healthcare issues.

Minor holds a M.S. in American Applied Politics and Policy and B.A. in History, both from the Florida State University. He is the recipient of the esteemed Joy Aukema Taps Children’s Advocate of the Year Award presented by Legal Services of North Florida.
